Redevelopment/Restart Initiative

We live in a day of rapid and discontinuous change. No wonder the church is in a struggle to relate to the world around. 85% to 90% of churches in America today are either plateaued or declining––a sure sign that life is difficult.
Some churches have changed regularly to meet the communication and service needs of the day, but others have not done so well. If we are going to successfully bring the Gospel to our changing world, then our churches must learn who to negotiate the change challenge.
"I have become all things to all people,
so that by all possible means I may save some.
I do all these things because of the gospel,
so that I can be a participant in it"
(1 Corinthians 9:22-23 NET).
so that by all possible means I may save some.

(1 Corinthians 9:22-23 NET).
The purpose of this initiative is to develop relationships and tools to assist any Grace Brethren congregation and their leaders as they engage a healthy redevelopment or replanting process. The change can be difficult, but remaining the same can be deadly to the congregation.
