Sean and Melissa Spoelstra - A suburban work sponsored by the Grace Church in Powell.

  • Story: Susan, Kevin's wife, cuts hair and just yesterday had a conversation with one of her clients about church. This client is someone Melissa and I and the Mielke's have known for four years through Dublin baseball. We had invited this lady and her husband to attend Grace Church in Powell off and on for years now...but they live on the west side of Dublin across the river from Powell.  Now that Susan told this lady about Encounter Church she would like to hear more! Great job Susan. I look forward to hearing and reporting more divine appointments that we can all celebrate.

Sean and Melissa have four young children – one boy and three girls (two of which are twins!)
  • Current Status: (September 08) From September '08 - January '09 the ENCOUNTER CHURCH launch team is meeting weekly on Sunday mornings to pray, plan and be trained on how to reach the Dublin-Jerome area. Small Groups are also starting in September with a nine week study through the Gospel of Matthew to focus our lives on "Seeking HIS Kingdom First" (the churches vision statement). The four core values of the church are CELEBRATE - GROW - SERVE - MULTIPLY. February 1, 2009 will start eight weeks of preview/practice services leading up to the Grand Opening month of April 2009.
